This summer I plan to post several problems each Monday morning, with follow up a few days later on approaches and solutions. For students wanting to do really well in next year's AMC8, this is an ideal opportunity to practice. The AMC 8 website also has a lot of past problems and is a good place to find additional practice.
I have also heard good things about two texts I will be checking out. If any of you want to invest in some math books and give comments on these, I would welcome your input.
The texts are: The Art and Craft of Problem Solving and Geometry Revisited. The first text is by Paul Zeitz who teaches at San Francisco State and runs San Francisco Math Circles. The second is by Coxeter and Greitzer.
